Brand Identity

Vision for Bangladesh

Vision for Bangladesh raises money to help pay for eye surgery for children living in poverty, and also for elderly people for whom eye surgery would be unaffordable. We were delighted to develop a logo, colour palette and overall brand identity for this great charity.

The charity was formed by Rachel Andrews after she retired from her position of Paediatric Ophthalmic Sister at West Suffolk Hospital’s Eye Treatment Centre in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. Working in ophthalmology for 25 years gave her such a passion for this area of medicine that, in 2006, it lead her to Moulvibazar Eye Hospital in Bangladesh.

When Rachel (and her trusty trustees) approached Pink Sky for a brand image we were only too happy to assist. The final brand incorporated the important elements of their work - the eye and the colours on the national flag of Bangladesh.

When Rachel went out to Bangladesh in November 2018 she took a large branded poster Pink Sky designed to help those in the hospital visualise all the trustees and people involved in the charity. This was received with a lot of excitement and was proudly displayed in the hospital.

“Pink Sky came highly recommended (even though they’re the other side of the country from us) …They captured the vision of our charity perfectly. Pink Sky has been integral to the success of all our promotions and social media pages. We would not consider using anyone else in the future, we are truly grateful to them for their professional work and can’t say a big enough thanks.”
