Filming with the James Hopkins Trust
8th February 2018
The James Hopkins Trust is a wonderful charity, that provides respite care and support for children with life-limiting illnesses across the whole of Gloucestershire. The trust began in 1989 and has helped over 500 children and their families. The free respite care can be received in the family home or at the special multi-sensory centre; Kites Corner, which is located in Gloucester.
The James Hopkins Trust is one of the many charities Pink Sky supports. We are pleased to offer our services to help with any of their design or marketing needs as part of our 20% day. Our 20% day is where we carry out projects, often on a Friday, which are free of charge for charities, start-ups or people who simply need a little help getting their name out there.
Our 20% project for the James Hopkins Trust was to create a short video for school children (Years 6-8) to give them an understanding of what the James Hopkins Trust does. After meeting with the Head of Fundraising, to understand exactly what they wanted, we created a plan and booked a couple of filming days to capture footage to show off the trust in a bright and positive way.
We had a wonderful time filming at the James Hopkins Trust and immediately felt welcome at Kites Corner.
The trust were delighted with the video and were quick to post it on social media;
“A huge thank you to Pink Sky who created this beautiful film. Aren’t our children just scrumptious?! It’s truly heartwarming to see how well Pink Sky Design have captured the spirit of JHT. Please share and hopefully it will inspire people to support us." - The James Hopkins Trust
