We have a curious matter to bring to your attention. There is a space at the top of St James Street in Cheltenham, not all that far from Pink Sky Studios. In that space, a mini parks every day. “Why is that strange?” I hear you cry. Well, here’s the thing. The space is not actually a space. It has double yellow lines by it. The mini is never the same mini. These minis also never EVER get tickets. Why not?
When I first brought this matter to Mark’s attention, he thought it was another of my “strawberries are always half price and are never sold at full price” ridicules. Mark has extensive knowledge of retail and assures me that they are sold at full price. My argument stood solidly, until we went to Lidl, where we found some strawberries at full price. Imagine the astonishment of passers by when Mark grabbed a punnet of strawberries and shouted “HA!! I TOLD YOU!!!” at the fullest extent of his northern tones, whilst making strawberry milkshake within the packaging.
Anyhow, as time went on, we discovered that the mini fiasco was not another blonde whim, but actually true. So we pose the following questions:
- Why do minis, in this space, never get tickets?
- Where do all the minis that park in this space come from? Is it a secret space agreed by the Mafia?
- Can minis park anywhere for free?
- Are traffic wardens lacking in their SVA? (Small Vehicular Awareness).
Here is today’s mini (what an awesome set of Pink Sky colours!):

Note, the double yellow lines and lack of parking ticket. We will keep you posted!
